This year, the joyous event returns for its 12th edition, promising an unforgettable experience for residents and visitors alike.
An Oktober Festival Rooted in Authenticity
Organized by the Redlands Optimist Club, the Oktoberfest on October 7th and 8th, 2023, is set to transform Sylvan Park into a hub of festive activity. Echoing the traditional Oktoberfest celebrations of Munich, Germany, attendees can expect a heartwarming blend of authentic German food, craft beers, and exhilarating live music.
The musical lineup is set to be a treat with performances by The Brass Band until 4:30 pm, Arena Red from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Saturday, and Sweet Mischief taking over the same time slot on Sunday.
A Family Affair
While Oktoberfest is often associated with beer, the Redlands Oktoberfest ensures it’s an affair to be enjoyed by all, regardless of age. Children aged 20 and under get free admission, ensuring families can celebrate together without a hitch.
For the younger attendees, a designated play area brims with excitement, featuring games, a bounce house, and face painting sessions. Meanwhile, adults can engage in light-hearted competitions, from the traditional Stein Holding contests to fun rounds of corn hole, connect four, and the riveting Hammerschlagen.

In true Oktoberfest fashion, the event boasts a diverse selection of beers, satisfying the palates of both aficionados and casual drinkers. Whether it’s a robust dark German beer or a refreshing pale ale that you seek, the Oktoberfest promises a brew for every taste.
